Pale golden straw in colour and still a youthful hue for a 7 year old white.
Aromas of classic bottle aged Riesling still in the primary fruit spectrum. There are cumquot and citrus blossom aromas, with some orange marmalade notes.
The marmalade notes come through on the palate and there are some light tannins providing a complex texture to the wine. These tannins, (not normally mentioned in whites), are likely to be from the hot 2016 vintage and some sunburnt skins. This adds some positive complexity to this wine. This is a wine to enjoy with food and should be sold for a premium above a current vintage wine Drink now - 2028
