Sharing the wine we love.

Tallis Wine is a family-owned and family-run vineyard set among the rolling hills of Dookie in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley region.

For more than 25 years, our single-vineyard varietals have been handmade here on the farm and for 12 years Richard and Alice operated a cellar door located hillside on the property.

In 2023 Richard and Alice closed the cellar door and leased their building to Dookie locals Hannah and Luke Harmer and this much-loved Dookie destination evolved into a new business, ‘Rye at Tallis’; independently operated and no longer run by Tallis Wine.

Tallis Wine is grown and made by Richard Tallis. Each wine reflects not only the unique terroir of our land, but our deep affection for this part of the world.

It tastes like it looks! Despite its great density the palate finishes with well-balanced acidity making the wine very morish.
